My name is Bishop Pastor Alida Janaire Lark, I am the Pastor Elect of First Christian Missionary Baptist Church where my Pastor and my Father is Bishop Dr. Damon S. Roach, Pastor Emeritus.
I am happily married to Bishop Thomas L. Lark Sr., and God blesses our union with 8 beautiful children, ages range from 27 down to 5 and we care for our eldest grandchild age 6. I am a doting wife and a loving daughter.
I have spent the last 40 years, of my God blessed life, finding out what it means to be a true Christian. I was called to the ministry in 2011 after the death of our son Thomas L. Lark III aka "Tripp. I made the decision to stop running from the God I serve the day our son passed.
I preached my first sermon August 7, 2011 and have not stopped. "It is my and my husband's mission to make the world we live in become aware of and knowledgeable to the God we serve."
We live life, love all and have learned to laugh often. God Blesses Us All!
"No more names: National Drive to reduce gun violence" Mayors Against Illegal Guns
We are living in a world that will not have anything to offer our children nor ourselves to live off of nor ascertain the means to provide. So we have made it our mission and our goal to better educate ourselves and our community. We implement with the help of volunteers these actions by having a number of classes and events that are open to all:
Training for Service (a study of the Bible)
Foreign Language Training (Spanish, French, Swahili, German, Japanese and Arabic)
FCMBC Praise Team
Community Service (a completion of hours ordered by the courts)
Religious Counseling for marriage (Before/After I say "I Do", non married couples relationship, family and child(ren)
I am currently a member and supporter of the following:
